dayton to open new mental health crisis services center this summer

Dayton will soon be home to a new mental health crisis services center that will provide round-the-clock support for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The center will be operated by the Montgomery County ADAMHS (Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services) Board and will be located on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard. The facility will offer a safe space for individuals to receive treatment and support and will feature a range of services, including crisis intervention, counseling, and medication management. ASIAN HOT POT & KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT TO OPEN NEAR DAYTON MALL

A new restaurant that combines Korean BBQ and Asian hot pot cuisine is set to open soon near the Dayton Mall. The restaurant, called KPOT, will offer an all-you-can-eat dining experience as well as a range of dishes, including grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables, as well as hot pot soups and stews. The restaurant will also offer a variety of sauces and seasonings, allowing customers to customize their meals to their tastes. ART INSTALLATION TO FEATURE MUSICAL SCULPTURE ALONG GREAT MIAMI RIVER

A new art installation is coming to the Great Miami Riverway in Dayton. The installation, called "Wind in the Garden," is an 18-ft. tall plant-shaped sculpture made of stainless steel and aluminum that makes music when wind blows through it. The piece was created by local sculptor and multi-instrumentalist, Michael Bashaw, and commissioned by the Garden Club of Dayton. The installation is designed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability and will be located near the Dayton Art Institute. "Wind in the Garden" is set to be installed this summer. The restaurant, called The Foundry, will be located on the top floor of the new AC Hotel on Madison Street and will offer stunning views of the city skyline, including Day Air Ballpark. DAYTON VOLUNTEERS CLEAN UP 18 NEIGHBORHOODS FOR EARTH DAY

To celebrate Earth Day, volunteers in Dayton gathered to clean up litter and debris in 18 neighborhoods throughout the city. The effort was organized by the Living City Project and was part of the city's ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability. Volunteers were provided with trash bags, gloves, and other supplies and were encouraged to work in small groups to ensure social distancing.
