Queen of the 'Que. Yellow Springs native Erica Roby has seen her barbeque business booming as of late. Roby has appeared on Food Network program BBQ Brawl and earned the prestigious title of the “Master of ‘Que”. Home is where the "likes" are. The hosts of the popular HGTV series Cheap Old Houses, Ethan and Elizabeth Finkelsetein, recently took to social media to promote a Dayton house. In a post shared to their 1.9 million followers on Instagram, the couple posted the residence at 462 Elm Grove Drive in Dayton. The house is currently listed for sale at $299,000. Learn more here.
OLD SCRATCH PIZZA TO OPEN A THIRD LOCATION

Anotha one, anotha one! Old Scratch Pizza, a Dayton pizzeria franchise, is set to open its third location in Beavercreek this week. The third location will be at 2450 Dayton Xenia Road, in a building where The Wellington Grille restaurant was previously located. An opening date for the third location has yet to be determined. art MURAL DEVOTED TO mental health is PAINTED IN DAYTON

Art that's good for the heart - and mind. Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley’s Clubhouse is raising awareness for the issue of mental health and suicide prevention. This will be accomplished with the painting of a mural called the Love You Mural. The project will be funded by Culture Works in conjunction with the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District Arts Special Projects Grant. More here.
DAYTON BLUES FESTIVAL TO TAKE PLACE ON JULY 24TH

Got the blues? On Sunday, July 24th the Recreation Department of the City of Dayton will host the Dayton Blues Festival. The event will be hosted at the Levitt Pavilion. Local food vendors will be present to serve attendees. Full story here.
